Senior Research Director
Barbara is a Senior Research Director for Infinia Analytics, assisting in project development, oversight, and analysis.
Barbara's research experience includes years in project management before focusing more on design and analysis. She joined Opinion Research Corporation (ORC) in 1982 and spent ten years in the San Francisco office, working in a wide variety of industries and areas, from mail volume estimation for the US Postal Service to customer segmentation for an upscale hotel chain to attitudes, awareness, and usage of livestock ear tags.
When ORC's San Francisco office closed in the early 90s, Barbara spent about six months on secondment to offices in London and Princeton before returning to California and a telecommuting arrangement with ORC. This lengthy relationship with ORC ended in 2004; in 2005 Barbara began working with Infinia.
Much of her work in the past ten years has been in the areas of brand management and customer satisfaction, largely in business-to-business markets but also including business-to-consumer projects and research among employees and other stakeholders.
Barbara holds an A.B. in Statistics from Harvard.
